GREY BLENDING

Your greys aren’t the problem… the strategy is.

  • Grey blending isn’t “going grey.” It’s a technique that makes your greys work with you, not against you. It’s completely customized to each client based on your grey pattern, natural color, and long-term goals. The result is softer, more natural dimension instead of harsh, solid coverage.

Unlike traditional grey coverage, it’s lower maintenance, grows out seamlessly, and doesn’t leave you stuck in an endless cycle of root touch-ups, brassy fade, and obvious grow-out. Less upkeep. More natural. Way less bullshit.

  • That all depends on the client’s salt:pepper ratio. Some may have to, yes. But some may actually go/stay darker.

  • Ask yourself on a scale of 1-10, how much do you hate your greys? Is it the greys you hate, or the harsh grow out of traditional methods? If it is the grow out that bothers you more than the grey itself then you could possibly be a great candidate for grey blending!

  • It all depends on your growth patterns. Some may have longer journeys than others, and some may even find out grey blending isn’t a good fit for them. The best way to find out what your process would look like is to book your complimentary “Start Here” consultation appointment and find out.

  • Short answer… in the beginning, yes there could be some warmth. Long answer… Grey blending is not a linear process. Remember-we are working through a bold stark demarcation line, lots of layered color, and years of regrowth. Each process is different for each individual. But one thing remains the same, to eventually get to a place with no warmth, blended regrowth, easier maintenance, and color you ACTUALLY like.

  • In the pursuit of being completely transparent with future and current clients, at this time I do not work with home color. Reason being-the damage the hair incurs is generally never worth it, and in a lot of cases the client won’t get what they’re hoping for because of the nature of home color. My advice to those clients is to just let it grow the old fashioned way and keep hair on your head.
